Sarah Katherine

DownTown Lincoln. The Historic Haymartket.
Sarah got a new haircut and agreed to model for me.
She also helped me decide how she wanted the editing done.

Check out this Awesome Alley we found! Its next to an art studio.

These were taken on a preserved and up-kept train yard,

Clicked!

Shot in aperture priority! (yes I finally understand why its better!)
I feel like realizing that, and understanding lighting a bit better has made things click into place a bit more. Thanks for all of your patience and help!

playing with "glow" lighting. Not sure how I feel about it.

Hand held HDR

I went up to the biggest mountain in AZ (Humphrey's peak) with Anna and Asa on Saturday, so I didn't take all the camera gear. This is a 5 shot HDR image that I took without a tripod. You can see a fire in the distance on the left, and I love how you can see the sun shining through the smoke on the right.

Bad To The Bone

I know this looks like something I would stage- but it was the kids idea- not mine. I swear.

Processing in Aperture

I have been processing my pics in Aperture. (thanks dad!) And I have found that its really fun, and works really well for what I need! These pictures are from Tanners actual birthday, when we went to Chili's for Justin's wedding, we let him have cheesecake.

I just "polished" them in aperture, playing with different ways of doing it. I love them!

I use "presets" and then fiddle a bit more with them to get them how I like it.
