Hand held HDR

I went up to the biggest mountain in AZ (Humphrey's peak) with Anna and Asa on Saturday, so I didn't take all the camera gear. This is a 5 shot HDR image that I took without a tripod. You can see a fire in the distance on the left, and I love how you can see the sun shining through the smoke on the right.

  1. wow! this is beautful! and so unique to have the elements of smoke and the way to sun shines through it. It looks like you were pretty high for arizona! how tall was this mountain?

  2. the mountain is 12,600ft but i took the picture at the top of the lift that is 11,500 ft. So it is pretty high. There are only a few places in AZ that are that high. We went up there to get out of the heat, it was only about 70 degrees up on top.
