Have you ever noticed....

...how when the sun comes thru a window just right and just enough dust is illuminated by the sun, it makes a pillar of sunrays appear to shoot thru the room? Well our house here has both great windows for sunlight and a ton of dust. Then this afternoon me and Isaac happened to notice the sun shining thru the skylight in the hall making a perfect pillar. So, we got the camera and started shooting.

Of course we had to enhance the characteristics of the situation for it to look the best.
It might seem gross, but this is what we did:

As gross as it may be, me and Isaac were both very impressed by how it turned out.

It did look a bit like snow, so Isaac tried to catch some in a bucket.
It didn't really work.

We know it was a kind of a strange idea, but it was fun.

Me and Isaac would like to let you know that after the dust storm, we blew a lot of the dust out the door with a fan, then re-vacuumed the rug and the floor.
