DC Temple Lights

Went to the DC temple. We got some good pics of us and the fancy Christmas trees inside the visitors center, and we got a few decent night shots of the temple. But this blog is for crazy photography, so here are the not so traditional ones.
I had some fun with flash+long shutterspeed+movement. Fun to do something different. Isaac, as always, was a great sport and a great assistant.

The lights were beautiful, but man was it cold.

Isaac took this one.

All of these are strait from the camera, absolutely zero post-processing. Not that photoshop isn't fun, but it's a lot more fun sometimes to get wild effects with just light, lens and shutter.

  1. Pretty cool stuff. I like the combo of flash and long exposure, it makes the shots interesting to have motion blur and portions of sharp detail. Looks great.
