Playing with software

I have been playing with Nik software as a photoshop plugin and the results are amazing. Here is a before and after from Zion.

This is how it came out of the camera.

This is processed.

I will post more as i continue to figure this stuff out.

  1. These pics rock. What software are you using? I just found a CD that had some kind of trial version of Color Efex pro 3.0, but I loaded it and it only has like 3 filters.....not sure if it doesn't mesh well w/ elements or if I'm missing something or if its just a very basic version....

  2. It is the full package of Nik software, so Define, Viveza, Color Effects pro, HDR pro, and Sharpener pro. they all work with Elements fine. and you can download 15 day trial version for each of them. Color effects pro is ok, i have not spent much time with it, but the full version has some 70 or 80 filters.

  3. Cool, which did you use to do these ones? They look great!! It looks like color efex has some cool filters, but its pretty pricey.
