NYC

Starry Night, the actual painting. Isaac insisted on having his pic taken with such a famous painting, he took it very seriously.

Bryant Park has this cool holiday craft market and there was this nice outdoor porch with a fire and heaters. We lounged around, and warmed up with hot apple-cider and table-top smores.

Modern art, gotta love it.

Great location, very classic feeling building.

Empire State (on 34th) from Bryant Park behind the NY Library (42nd)

Chrysler in the background, not quite as high but much prettier

Settings on this screen got a bit messed up,
so sorry if the contrast is a bit off on these, couldn't quite tell how my adjustments were taking.

  1. Did you take the picture of the girl on the chairs in front of the buildings? Thats an awesome picture! I am all about modern art, that is what I would be good at if I could.... or is it a pic of a pic?

I can't believe you saw actual Starry Night! I am with Isaac on this one, it is so seriously a BIG DEAL! Looks like fun! Merry Christmas!

  3. Do you mean the 4th picture? That is Isaac standing in the sculpture garden/courtyard of the museum of modern art, with the other side of the museum and several other buildings reflecting off the windows. I took it. and did some minor adjustments to contrast in elements.
Good question about the piano guy, at one point he even rolled the piano around while playing. quite intriguing indeed.
